Thank you for joining me on the next installment of my Cabo San Lucas Honeymoon series! If you have been following along, you’ve read the overview of our trip as well as my closer look at Rosé.
Today I wanted to share a little bit of our food experiences while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas. While we mostly dined on the resort as part of our all-inclusive package, we did have the pleasure of trying some local cuisine while exploring the city. The Office and Mi Casa were recommendations to us and we thoroughly enjoyed both restaurants.
The Pueblo Bonito Rosé resort is closer to town and made for a great home base while we explored the city. Both Mi Casa and The Office on the Beach are within a 20-25 minute leisurely walk from Rosé. You can even walk from Rosé to The Office without ever leaving the beach! Mi Casa is a tad further into town, but the path takes you past the Marina and plenty of shops and other restaurants. Unless there is inclement weather or you must be considerate of mobility options, there is little need to catch an Uber to either restaurant.

We heard about The Office from a couple that regularly vacations at Pueblo Bonito resorts. We were looking for a place close to Rosé that serves authentic Mexican cuisine, and we were not disappointed. At The Office I enjoyed the best tacos I have ever had in my life – their catch of the day Grilled Fresh Sea Bass Tacos Marinated with Fine Herbs. I was so excited and famished when we were served, I forgot to take a picture. You’ll have to trust me, they were incredibly delicious.

We visited Mi Casa at an off-time for dining, so we had the restaurant pretty much to ourselves. It was a beautiful, sunny day, and we were seated in the open-air atrium of the restaurant. Sweet birdsong and the light buzzing of street traffic filled the air as we enjoyed our pork tostada appetizer and the day’s taco sampling.
After our lunch we spent a considerable amount of time wandering around the restaurant. Mi Casa has its own gift shop, and we purchased a few Mexican pebble glassware shot glasses to commemorate the experience.
