Nestled among the tranquility and quaint farmlands of Wright City, Missouri lies Long Row Lavender, a family-owned lavender farm. Long Row Lavender offers visitors a refreshing retreat to enjoy gorgeous florals in a contemporary barn setting.
In addition to beautiful countryside views, Long Row Lavender features a lavender-forward boutique shop and café. An assortment of home and personal items greets arriving visitors. The on-site café features lavender-infused drinks and treats while also offering a selection of salads, soup, and sandwiches. Upon arrival I enjoyed the Lavender Bloom Latte with oat milk while I strolled around the property grounds.
After browsing the boutique I ventured outside to finish my coffee under the covered patio. For lunch, I ordered the Half and Half lunch combo to enjoy a half Turkey Bacon sandwich and a cup of the seasonal corn and potato chowder. Both were delicious.
Inside the barn loft, visitors can view the most recent crop of harvested lavender. Lavender is harvested, bundled, and dried in the upstairs loft.
Just outside barn visitors are welcome to carefully stroll along the rows of plants and visit the nearby pond. While this year's lavender has been harvested, Zinnias are currently in full bloom. I enjoyed the lovely diversity in color.
From the beautiful views, delicious food, and peacefulness of nature's beauty, I truly enjoyed my first visit to Long Row Lavender and look forward to returning.
